Pillars

All Angels Academy is built on Four Pillars: academics, spiritual life, arts, and athletics. This foundation encourages growth in every aspect of our students' lives. The vision of our school is to be a diverse, academically, and spiritually excellent community for each unique child.

"We embrace the whole child"

Academics

Students are challenged to explore the depths of their intellectual curiosity and their own spirituality. Through the individual focus, small class sizes, advanced courses, customized learning, and a student-centered class schedule, All Angels Academy provides an academically strong environment supported by the professional staff and faculty. Guided by this perspective, All Angels teachers respond by presenting a full and rich curriculum focusing on differentiated instruction designed to stretch and move each child forward. Our integrated curriculum unites all academic disciplines into themed units. We encourage students to think critically and problem-solve, challenging them to be active participants in their education.

Spiritual Life

The All Angels Academy experience is enhanced by the concept that spiritual growth is an essential part of personal growth. We will never force our views on any student, and we encourage healthy debate. We accept that not all students will believe in all of our teachings, but we encourage an in-depth look at the teachings of the bible, and its applications to everyone’s lives. All members of the All Angels Academy community are expected to uphold and respect the dignity of every human being, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender expression, or disability. All humans are created equal in God’s eyes, and we strive for equity in our classrooms and our church.

Arts

Participation and knowledge of the arts is a critical part of All Angels Academy. We strive to encourage students in both art and music and encourage artistic expression. Essential to our mission and vision, the art and music program enriches our students' educational experience. Our students explore art, music and performance from an early age at All Angels. Students have a plethora of opportunities to develop their unique talents, whether on stage as an angel in the annual PreK and Elementary Christmas production or in their weekly art class. Lower School students begin their foundation in the arts with weekly music and art class. Art and music are interwoven in many academic subjects, through the use of interdisciplinary projects. Our 6th - 8th grade students participate in the National History Day program yearly. At the completion of their interdisciplinary project, students can choose to create a visual exhibit board, a documentary, a website or a performance. Our students' projects have advanced the county-level competition and to the state-level competition, Florida History Day, in Tallahassee. Our competitors have won first place in the state-level competition, advancing to the national competition in Washington, DC.

Athletics

All Angels Academy believes that a quality interscholastic athletic program is an important part of a student’s educational experience and strives to offer all students the opportunity to participate in interscholastic competition. Our athletic program is committed to promoting the ideals of sportsmanship, respect, commitment, integrity, leadership and team competition. By nurturing and encouraging these ideals through athletics, our goal is to improve the athletic ability and fitness of each student and instill in them the basic ideals of teamwork and lifelong physical fitness.
